Cabin Amenities & Features

What are the sleeping arrangements?

Red River Basecamp sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably. The main floor has a queen bedroom and a bunk room with full-size bunk beds. Upstairs is the master suite with a king bed and private bathroom. All bedrooms have premium linens and blackout curtains for great sleep after your adventures.

Is the kitchen fully equipped for cooking?

The kitchen features full-size appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare meals. We provide cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, blender, and basic spices. Perfect for fueling up before climbing or cooking a celebratory dinner after sending your project.

Tell me about the hot tub - when can I use it?

The 6-person hot tub is available 24/7 and positioned for the best gorge views. It's professionally maintained and heated year-round. Nothing beats soaking those climbing muscles while watching the sunset over the Red River Gorge. We provide towels and ask that you shower before use.

Is there reliable internet for remote work?

Yes! We have high-speed fiber internet throughout the cabin, perfect for remote work, video calls, or sharing your climbing photos. The master bedroom and living area have dedicated workspace areas if you need to mix business with adventure.

Do you have electric vehicle charging?

We have a Level 2 EV charging station available for guests with electric vehicles. It's a 240V outlet that can fully charge most EVs overnight. Just let us know when booking if you'll need to use it so we can provide specific instructions.

Is there laundry available?

The cabin has a full laundry room with washer, dryer, and laundry supplies. Perfect for longer stays or washing muddy climbing clothes. There's also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after particularly adventurous days before coming inside.

How many vehicles can park at the cabin?

The cabin has parking for up to 4 vehicles with a paved driveway and additional gravel parking area. Perfect for climbing groups with multiple cars or larger families. The driveway is accessible for all vehicle types year-round.

What makes the views so special?

The cabin sits on the ridgeline with panoramic views of the Red River Gorge hollows and climbing areas below. Every window frames the gorge, and the back deck offers 180-degree views. You can literally see the climbing areas you'll be exploring from your morning coffee spot.
